National shooting week.
On Saturday 2nd June, Clare Mills and Martin Crix set up shop at Lakenheath CTC on behalf of the Lakenheath Muzzle Loaders to demonstrate and allow shooters and the general public the opportunity to fire a muzzle loader or flintlock as part of the National Shooting Week. As the pictures show a great time was had by all. I would just like to finish this news item by thanking both Clare and Martin for taking the time to explain in an expert manner both the working and firing of these old guns.

Gerry Lee Christensen and Great Balls of Fire.
Nasal hair completely gone. Dave Christensen showing just what it takes to smoke a clay target with a flintlock.

You sure about this?
Sarah Christensen deliberating about the task ahead under the watchful eye of Martin Crix.

You told us you had stopped smoking Sarah.
A perfect shot of the flintlock going off and although you cannot see it, the target smoked.
